Treatment Experience of Inguinal Hernia Repair with Modified Kugel Patch

目的探讨Modified Kugel补片修补腹股沟疝的的技术操作要点,并评价其治疗效果。方法对16例行开放性前入路腹膜前间隙置入Modified Kugel补片治疗的腹股沟疝患者的临床资料进行回顾性分析。结果 16例患者手术时间45～60 min,未留置导尿管。所有患者术后6～24 h下床活动,均于手术当晚进食半流质,第2天进普食。切口疼痛轻微,切口均一期愈合。术后发生阴囊血肿、发热各1例,无尿潴留、切口感染等并发症。术后3～7 d均痊愈出院。术后随访3～20个月,无明显异物感,无一例术后复发。结论应用Modified Kugel补片治疗腹股沟疝安全有效,术后恢复快、并发症少。

Objective To explore the technical key-points of inguinal hernia repair with Modified Kugel patch,and to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy.Methods Clinical data from 16 inguinal hernia patients who underwent open preperitoneal Modified Kugel patch repair were retrospectively analyzed.Results The operative time ranged from 40 to 60 minutes.Patients were managed without an indwelling catheter.All the 16 patients conducted activities 6-24 hours postoperatively,and were able to take semi-liquid food on the night after surgery and general diet on the second after surgery.Patients had mild incisional pain and primary wound healing.Postoperative scrotal hematoma occurred in 1 patient and fever in 1 patient.No urinary retention and incision infection were observed.All patients were cured and discharged from hospital 3-7 days postoperatively.After 3 to 20 months of follow-up,no patients had foreign body sensation or recurrence of inguinal hernia.Conclusion Modified Kugel patch is safe and effective for inguinal hernia repair,and induces quick recovery and less complications.
