20世纪90年代的秦地小说家都偏好匪类题材,匪类文学的盛行与地域文化有关。杨争光的匪类小说是一个异数,他走国民性批判的路子,对乡村暴力文化及其后面的民众文化心理给予了细腻的描画和深刻的批判,揭示了民间精神世界偏执、匮乏和荒芜的一面。
In the 1990s, the Qin writers favored bandit theme in their literary works. The popularity of bandit literature is related to the regional culture. Yang Zhengguang is different from other writers in his bandit literary works. He criticizes the national character in his works. He depicts exquisitely and criticizes profoundly the rural violence culture and the rural people's psychology and exposes the bigoted, deficient and bleak sides of the rural people's spirit world.
