摘要
通过对湘潭大学图书馆新书借阅情况统计分析,本文认为图书馆新购图书利用率不高的原因主要为:缺乏新书采购工作质量评价体系、电子图书的影响、网络技术的冲击以及图书供给与读者需求的错位。要提高新书利用率,应该采取以下措施:提高采购质量,扩大新书宣传、开发阅读需求,加强读者需求调查,保持电子图书与纸本图书的合理比例,加强新书管理、提高读者服务质量。
Through a statistical analysis of new books borrowing in Xiangtan University library, this paper thinks that the lack of a quality appraisal system in the purchase of new books, the influence of electronic books, the impact of network technology, the disloca- tion between books supply and the readers＇demand arc the main reasons of the low utilization ratio of library new books. To improve the utilization ratio of library new books, it suggests that library should improve the purchase quality, expand the propaganda of new books, develop reading demand, strengthen the investigation of readers demand, keep the reasonable proportion of electronic books and the printed books, strengthen the new books management and improve the quality of the readers service. 5 refs.
