As a special form of psychological counseling, network psychological counseling is the new method and new way used in current ideological and political education in universities. Through the analysis of special advantages of network psychological counseling compared with traditional psychological counseling, the paper puts forward that network psychological counseling has played a huge role in ideological and political education in universities, also, it puts forward a series of strategies and measures in projects which would accelerate the development of network psychological counseling.
