This paper analyses the U.S. fiscal conditions, sustainability of public debt, and predicts their future. The paper also analyses the difficulties as well as the possible strategies for U.S. government to reduce the debt, evaluates the implications and risks of US public debt problems for the world and China. Based on the analysis, the paper gives some brief suggestions for Chinese government to deal with the issues.
