中国是世界上利用竹做乐器种类最多，同时也是在使用方面最普及和水平最高的国家之一。把众多的竹乐器组成一个高水平规模化的乐团应该说是一个创举，竹乐团独特新颖，色彩浓郁，会在文艺演出旅游、教育和群众文化中带来好处，尤其对竹的各种活动中更显必要。竹乐队的繁荣必然带来竹乐器制造业的繁荣，竹乐器加工是高附加值、较高技术含量的行业，是竹材利用的好途径。

China is one Country which uses bamboo to make instruments in the earliest time it has the biggest kinds of bamboo instruments,most popular and most developed in use of bamboo instruments in the world. To form a high-level,big-scale orchestra from various bamboo instruments should be thought as a creative thing.With bamboo orchestra being unique,noverlty,it plays an important role in tourism,education,popular culture,particularly in in-kind festival activities of bamboo. Prosperity of bamboo orchestra will bring about booming of making profession of bamboo instruments which is high value-added,technology-intensive.
