COMPARISON OF THE YIELD VALUES BETWEEN THE TWIN SHEAR STRESS WITH THE TRESCA AND THE MISES THEORIES

文章应用简洁的方法分析比较了双剪应力强度理论与Tresca 及Mises 强度理论在理论值上的差异。通过比较,可以方便于学生对双剪应力强度理论的理解。

In this paper the difference of the theoretical values between the twin shear stress strength theory with the Tresca and the Mises strength theories are analysed and compared by a concise method. The students can comprehend the theory easily through the comparison. The content of this paper can be compiled as the teaching material in the material mechanics course.
