究全球及中国生态环境可持续发展和生态旅游发展前景，认为生态旅游正在成为世界多数国家的支柱产业，中国的生态旅游已奠定了深厚的基础．针对武汉木兰生态旅游区的实际，研究其区位、资源、政策等优势和经济上的可行性，使它的建立为中国生态旅游，特别是都市生态旅游提供示范。

On the research of the sustainable development of ecological environment and the prospect of the ecological tourism development at home and abroad, it is regarded that the ecological tourism has been the supported industry in most countries. The ecological tourism has a deep foundation in China. Studing the priority of location, resources, policy and the flexibility of economy existed in Mulan Ecological Tour District will offer an example for econological to urism especially the urban ecological tourism in China. It is proved that the establishment of Mulan Ecological Tour District is flexible.
