IETF and lnternet Standards

ＩＥＴＦ 是一个专门负责基于ＩＰ 网络协议的标准化组织，由许多工作组组成，受ＩＥＳＧ、ＩＡＢ 和ＩＳＯＣ 管理。与其它大多数标准化组织不同的是，ＩＥＴＦ 没有正式成员，是一个完全开放的团体，它的各项进展基于“大概一致的意见和运行代码”。

IETF is a standardization body focused on the development of protocols used in IP based networks.IETF consists of many working groups and is managed by the Internet Engineering Steering Group (IESG), Internet Architecture Board (IAB), and Internet Society (ISOC). IETF is different from most standardization bodies since it is a full open community with no formal members.And its advances are based on“rough consensus and running code'.
