以发明“奔驰”汽车为自豪的曼海姆技术博物馆是德国最大的技术博物馆之一。探究和呈现自工业化200年以来的技术史及其对德国南部社会发展的影响是技术馆的使命与特色。机器与展品真实地反映了不同时期的工作环境和生存状态。参与造纸、印刷等实验成为展示的重要组成。用来揭示人的感觉与感应技术的材料、能源、环境、自动化和机器人等新技术受到特别关注。技术馆也是热点和有争议的话题的论坛,展现新技术的机会与风险。2011年9月将通过“赛车世界”的活动,呈现车手与技术的方方面面,10月将聚焦“我们每天的面包和工业的原料”。
TECHNOSEUM is one of the largest technical museum in Germany in Mannheim where the automobile was invented 125 years ago and the name Benz today. Researching and presenting the history of technology and its social impacts in southwest Germany through 200 years of industrialization is the museum's mission and indentity. Machines and objects were taken from the everyday working environments and conditions of different periods of history. Papermaking and postcards printing are popular stations through the exhibition. Meterials research, energy, environmental technology as well as automation and robotics are received special attention. The museum is the forum for current and controversial topics, pointing out opportunities and risks of new technologies. In September 2011, the main focus will be on "The World of Motorsport", presenting an insider's view of the racing team and the physical condition required for this sport. "Our daily bread and the industrialization of food" will be in October.
