Contriving a New Development Mode for Shandong——Musing on the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula

"十二五"开局之年,国务院正式批复了《山东半岛蓝色经济区发展规划》,山东将以此为契机,重新规划设计半岛的发展模式。城市规划不是一成不变的定义,它要随形式的变化而重新构建,未来五年山东半岛会有怎样的变化,是本文研究的视角。

At the unfolding year of the Twelfth Five-Year-Plan, the State Council officially approved Development Plan for Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula, which will set the path for Shandong to a new development mode in planning. As urban planning concept goes, no stereotype or doctrine will stay all the same when the form varies and changes, accumulating to qualitative change. Therefore, in the next five years how Shandong Peninsula will and can mould itself, is the focus of this paper.
