The Role and the Development of Stock Exchanges in "Corporate Society Responsibility"

随着经济全球化的发展,公司社会责任问题已经引起了全球范围内学术界和实务界的广泛关注。而运用市民社会的力量,通过证券交易所这一平台,敦促上市公司履行社会责任,是当前各国资本市场正在兴起的方式。本文拟从证券交易所参与公司社会责任活动的角度出发,对该问题进行分析。文章通过对当前主要资本市场的资料搜集,阐述了各主要证券交易所履行自身社会责任和规范上市公司社会责任行为的现状,对目前存在的问题进行了分析,并对如何完善提出了见解。

With the development of economic globalization, the issue of corporate society responsibility has caused the concern of global academia and practical industries. Using the power of civil society and through the stock exchange, the listed companies are required to take the corporate society responsibility, which is the new way in all over the world＇s capital markets. This paper casts on participation of the stock exchanges in the corporate society responsibility. Based on data collected in the current major capital markets, the present the situation that how the main stock exchanges take their corporate society responsibilities and regulate the behavior of the listed companies in corporate society responsibility. Then the existing problems are analyzed and some advices are put forward.
