The history and present situation of the digital library are introduced.To construct a ditigal library,the following problems must be solved i.e.,absorbing meterials and images,transforming date forms,designing databases and users' interfaces.The development of them will promote not only that publishings become electronic and their forms standardized and generalized,but also the development of techniques connected with them.
