Overview of Chinese Pension Insurance System From Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index

墨尔本美世全球养老金指数是首次公布的对世界养老保险制度进行比较、评价的报告,本文通过对该指数的分析和研究,介绍了美世全球养老金指数的评价指标体系,分析了我国目前面临的人口老龄化状况,通过对比研究揭示了我国养老保险制度存在的漏洞和缺陷,最后提出了保障我国养老保险制度稳定、可持续健康发展的政策建议。

Melbourne Mercer global pension index is a new index which attempts to evaluate and compare the world’s pension systems. By analyzing and studying Melbourne Mercer global pension index, this paper introduces evaluation index system of Melbourne Mercer global pension index, and analyzes current situation about ageing population in China. In addition, this paper shows the shortcoming and deficiency in Chinese pension insurance system. In the end, this paper presents policy suggestion in order that there is a stable and sustainable improvement for Chinese pension insurance system.
