现代制浆造纸装备制造业属于技术密集型和知识密集型的装备制造业，是为造纸工业提供技术装备的重要产业。经过多年的不断进步和积累，我国造纸工业具备了快速发展的条件，特别是“十一五”期间的五年，是我国制浆造纸工业大发展的五年。

Li Jian-guo,the president of China Light Industry Machinery Association,reviewed the development of China paper machinery manufacture industry in 11th Five-year Plan.Mr.Li thought in the five years,China paper machinery industry experienced the opportunity of industrial transfer of the international equipment,withstand the test of international financial crisis,gained lessons to cope with crisis from fluctuations in raw material price in home and abroad,developed steadly in the backgroud of international competition and large enterprise technical barriers.
