105例老年肺炎的临床特点及治疗

Clinical features and TCM treatment combined with western medicine of 105 cases of elderly pneumonia

目的：探讨老年肺炎的临床特点与治疗方法。方法：总结了１０５ 例中西医结合治疗的老年肺炎患者，并与同期住院的３５ 例中青年肺炎以及５１ 例纯西药治疗的老年肺炎的临床资料进行对比与疗效分析。结果：老年组喘促、心悸、纳差、舌暗、苔黄腻、脉弦滑等症明显多于中青年组，胸部Ｘ线以支气管肺炎居多（ Ｐ＜ ０－０１） ；中西医结合与纯西药治疗临床疗效无显著性差异（ Ｐ＞０－０５） 。结论：老年肺炎临床表现有其特殊性，治愈率低，死亡率高；尽管中西医结合临床疗效无明显优势，但中医在解毒、祛痰、平喘、提高抗病力诸方面能发挥特长。

Aim:To study the clinical features and therapies of elderly patients with pneumonia. Methods: 105 cases of senile pneumonia that were treated by combined treatment of TCM and Western medicine were collected and analyzed .These were contrasted with that of 35 cases of the youth and middle age patients with pneumonia and were compared with that of 51 cases of senile pneumonia whom were treated by pure Western medicament .All patients were in hospital and in the corresponding period. Results: The elderly group present more common asthma, palpitation, anorexia, dim tongue ,yellowish greasy coasting ,wiry and smooth pulse than the other group, while the elderly group has a lower curative ratio and a higher mortality rate. Most of the elderly patients proved by chest X-rays were bronchial pneumonia( P <0.01).There was no significant difference between two therapies in treatment of pneumonia ( P >0.05).Conclusion: The elderly patients display its clinical characteristics: lower curative ratio and higher death rate. There is not significantly different between two therapies in treatment of pneumonia, but Chinese medicine can make full use of its specialties in relieving internal fever, expelling phlegm, relieving asthma and improving body resistance.
