Position and Function of "Digital Earth" in Developments of Earthquake Information System and Earth Sciences in China

从“数字地球”出发， 以我国２１ 世纪地球科学发展的战略目标为纲， 以地震信息系统为例， 简要阐述了 “数字地球”在地震信息系统与地球科学发展中的地位和作用。

Proceeding from the situation of “digital earth”, regarding the strategic target in developments of earth sciences in the 21st century in China as key link, taking earthquake informa tion system as example, this paper briefly describes the position and function of “digital earth” in the developments of seismic information system and earth sciences.
