Geomorphology and sediment layer texture of submarine cable route in Haitan Strait

海坛海峡海底光缆建设是一项加强海坛岛与大陆之间通信的工程。本文介绍了勘察的光缆路由区地形地貌及沉积结构，并分析了相应的水动力情况，在明该段路由区宜于埋设海底光缆，但不同地段的水动力和沉积结构等有异，光缆埋设的深度应有所不同。

The submarine optical fiber cable construction from Fuqing to Haitan is an engineering project to enhance the communication between Haitan Island and mainland. The geomorphology and sediment layer texture of submarine route zone under survey is introduced, and the corresponding water dynamic is analysed. The results indicate that area is suitable for submarine cable route. But in different environment of water dynamic, the routing depth is different.
