On the Legal System for Regional Cooperation in Marine Environmental Protection

摘要海洋环境保护一直都是国际环境法中的重要领域,区域合作保护海洋环境的做法,因其独特的优势得到了各沿海国家的广泛认同和接受,并得到国际立法的确认和支持。中国所在的两个区域海洋,亟需沿海各国的合作保护。区域合作途径在这两个区域内的可适用性,取决于区域内海洋环境保护的实际需求。在实现区域内合作时,已有的区域合作防治海洋污染法律制度具有启发和裨益效用,不容忽视。 Marine environmental protection has become one of the key areas in International Environmental Law since the 1970s.Regional cooperation in such protection has been generally accepted and recognized by each coastal country for its unique merits.As for the two regional seas in which China is a member,regional cooperation is inadequate for the marine environmental protection.The indispensability of regional cooperation in these two regions is determined by practical marine environmental conditions.To promote regional cooperation,we find that the existing anti-pollution laws may be helpful and enlightening.
