摘要
隐喻不仅仅是一种修辞手段,更是一种创造性的思维能力。从认知的角度出发,回顾概念隐喻的发展历程,并进一步探讨其本质特征及其与大学英语词汇习得的关系。研究表明,将概念隐喻思维模式应用于大学英语词汇习得具有一定的科学性和可行性。
Metaphor is a rhetoric strategy as well as a creative thinking competence.This article discusses the core characteristics,development of metaphor and its connection with vocabulary acquisition in college English,and points out it is a fruitful and prosperous way to enlarge vocabulary.
