It is the scientific basis of “exchanging the farmland into the lake,and emigrating into new town being built”that the height difference is preciously surveyed about the protective embankments in Dongtinghu lakeside areas,it is a basic premise of reinforcing the branch dykes that the hidden troubles of dykes'bodies are probed into and the stability of dams foundation is evaluated.GPS survey and the method of high density resistance rate are two kinds of the advanced practical techniques in administering Dongtinghu.
