According to accounting main parameters and analyzing structures for static pressure guide way, the application importance of the technique of static pressure show clearly, longitudinal and cross feed of heavy-duty horizontal lathe adopting the guide way of static pressure, which can not only improve the motion accuracy of feed parts, but also reduce the power and torque of the drive motor, can save energy, reduce cost and improve the accuracy of machine tool.
