On the Development of the Party's Ideological Line and Marxism Modernization

面向新世纪,我们党提出了推进马克思主义中国化、时代化、大众化的重大战略任务。推进马克思主义时代化,既是马克思主义理论品质的体现,也是党的实事求是思想路线不断发展的结果。中国共产党人在反对教条主义和经验主义的斗争中,确立了实事求是的思想路线。从实事求是到解放思想,从与时俱进到求真务实,党的思想路线的不断丰富和发展,是中国共产党人推进马克思主义时代化的先导,形成了不同时期马克思主义时代化的理论创新成果。

Facing the new century,our Party put forward the significant strategic task of promoting localization of Marxism in China,Marxism modernization and Marxism popularization.To promote Marxism modernization is both a reflection of the theoretical quality of Marxism and the result of continuous development of our Party＇s ideological line of seeking truth from facts.Chinese Communists established the ideological line of seeking truth from facts during their struggle against dogmatism and empiricism.From seeking truth from facts to emancipating the mind,and from keeping pace with the times to being realistic and pragmatic,the Party＇s ideological line has been constantly enriched and developed,and has been performing a guiding role for Chinese Communists to push forward Marxism modernization,forming theoretical innovations during different periods of Marxism modernization.
