The Expression and Significance of VEGF and Ki-67 in Bladder Cancer

目的探讨膀胱移行细胞癌(BTCC)组织中血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和Ki-67的表达和临床意义,研究二者与肿瘤血管形成和肿瘤细胞增殖的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学SP法检测68例BTCC组织中VEGF和Ki-67的表达,分析VEGF和Ki-67表达与肿瘤病理分级、复发、转移及预后的关系。结果 BTCC组织中VEGF阳性率为73.53%,Ki-67阳性率为70.59%。在不同病理分级BTCC组织中VEGF和Ki-67的表达有明显差异,病理分级高的明显高于分级低的(P<0.05);浸润性肿瘤明显高于表浅性肿瘤(P<0.05);复发组均明显高于无复发组(P<0.05);Ki-67和VEGF协同强阳性表达率差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论 VEGF和Ki-67的阳性表达尤其是联合阳性表达对判断膀胱癌复发、评估预后具有重要意义。

Objective To investigate theexpression and clinical significance of vascular endothelial growth factor（VEGF） and Ki-67 in bladder transitional cell cancer（BTCC） and to explore the correlation between VEGF and Ki-67 in the angiogenesis of tumor and tumor cell proliferation. Methods The expressions of VEGF and Ki-67 were detected by immunohistochemical methods in 68 cases of BTCC. The correlation between the expression of VEGF and Ki-67 and various clinicopathological parameters including pathological grade, recurrence, metastasis and prognostic evaluation were analyzed. Results The positive expression rates of VEGF and Ki-67 in 68 cases of BTCC were 73.53% and 70.59% respectively. There was a significant difference in VEGF and Ki-67 expression among differently pathological grade, and the positive rate in high grade was significantly higher than that in low grade （ P 〈 0. 05 ）. The positive rate of the invasive tumor was significantly higher than that in superficial tumor （ P 〈 0. 05 ）. The positive rate in recurrence group was significantly higher than that in non-recurrence group （ P 〈 0.05 ）. The combined positive rate difference of Ki-67-and VEGF had statistical significance（ P0. 01 ）. Conclusions The expression of VEGF and Ki-67, especially the positive combined expression plays an important role in the judgment of recurrence and prognostic evaluation.
