交换技术经历了从模拟交换到数字交换再到程控交换阶段,其最大优点是系统只通过变动软件,就能达到改变交换系统的组成和功能,增添了许多方便用户的业务,十分利于系统的升级和更新;本文较为详尽地介绍了电路交换、分组交换、ATM 交换并分析了各自的技术特点,简述了光交换技术今后的发展趋势。

This paper makes the detail descriptions on the technologies of digital switch including circuit switch、packet switch and ATM switch , whose features are given with the elaborated writing in system. At last, WDM optical switch has been discussed and the tendency of this technology in future shown.
