A new fractal dimension on transport networks and the method of its determination

本文提出一种刻画交通网络空间分布特征的新参数——分枝维数，证明了它的分维性质，并以实例说明了其测算方法。

A new kind of geographical fractal dimension is proposed,it can be used to characterize the spatial structure of transport networks. The parameter is proved to possess fractal nature and named ‘dendrite dimension’,the geographical meaning of which is illuminated,some related questions are discussed,and the examples are given to illustrated the process of obtaining data concerned and calculating the dimension.
