摘要
汽车牌照识别系统在现代交通监控和管理中有着广阔的应用前景。本文首先介绍了汽车牌照识别系统，然后对其关键技术进行了论述，最后对汽车牌照识别技术存在的问题及发展的方向进行了讨论。
The license plate recognition system has promisingfuture in the control and management of the traffic. The sys-tem is generally introduced first,and then the key techniquesare presented, finally the problems and the future directionsof the LPR system are discussed.
