四川省自贡市是一座因盐而生、因盐而兴的城市,被誉为"千年盐都"。在这2000年的历史长河中,有着许许多多盐业历史文物、遗址和遗迹。丰富而独具特色的盐文化遗产是自贡城市文化的核心载体和重要内容。随着城市化进程的进一步加快和旅游产业的飞速发展,加强自贡盐文化遗产的科学保护与有效利用,对促进自贡地方经济社会的繁荣发展具有十分重要的现实意义。

Zigong city in Sichuan province is a city developing from salt and being prosperous because of salt, so it is known as the ＂Millennial Salt City＂ . In the past nearly 2000 years of history, there have been many historical relics, sites and monuments left in Zigong city. The abundant and unique salt cultural heritage is the core carrier and important content of Zigong city. With the further acceleration of urbanization and the rapid development of tourism industry, strengthening the studies on the scientific protection and effective use of Zigong salt cultural heritage will have great realistic significance in promoting the prosperous development of local economy and society in Zigong.
