中西知识观的差异及其对教育的启示

The Differences in the View of Knowledge between China and the Western Countries and the Inspiration for Education

中西知识观在知识的来源和性质、获取知识的方法和途径、知识价值观等方面都存在着差异,形成内向型和外向型两类知识,在这两类知识的影响下,中西社会的发展存在明显的差异。对比这些差异,寻找原因,分析利弊,对我国当前的教育在教育目的、教育内容和教育方法等方面很有启示价值。

The differences in the view of knowledge between China and the Western Countries in terms of the origin and nature of knowledge, the methods and ways of knowledge acquisition, and knowledge values have led to the formation of introvert and extrovert knowledge. Under the influence of these two kinds of knowledge, the social development between China and the West- ern Countries is sharply different. A study of these differences, tracing the reasons and analyzing the advantages and disadvanta- ges, will be of inspirational values for China today especially in terms of the aims, methods and contents of education.
