What the modern society need is the compound talents in English major who are not only good in English but in professional knowledge and have high social adaptability.The article analyzed the different training models of the compound talents in English major and their advantages as well as the disadvantages,and summed up the issues that should be paid attention to during the cultivation with the purpose to do contribution to the talent cultivation.
