摘要
目的:研究牛磺酸对糖尿病大鼠肾脏功能和结构损害的减轻效果。方法:糖尿病大鼠用牛磺酸(1% 饮水)处理14 周后,检查肾脏功能和结构的损害程度。结果:与对照组大鼠相比,糖尿病大鼠血糖、血清肌酐(Scr)、尿素氮(BUN)水平和尿白蛋白排泄量明显升高。牛磺酸处理未使血糖水平明显降低,但Scr、BUN 和尿白蛋白排泄量明显下降。给予牛磺酸后使糖尿病大鼠已升高的肾小球体积/体重比明显降低。糖尿病大鼠肾小球基底膜呈节段性增厚,上皮足突部分融合和滤过膜间隙增大。牛磺酸处理后这些超微结构改变明显改善。
Objective:To evaluate the ameliorative effect of taurine on renal functional and structural lesions in diabetic rats.Methods:After taurine (1% taurine in drinking water) was administrated to streptozotocin induced diabetic rats for 14 weeks,the renal function and structure were studied in the animals.Results:As compared with controls,the levels of blood glucose,Cr,BUN and urinary albumin excretion were significantly elevated in diabetic rats.After the diabetic rats were treated with taurine,the blood glucose level was reduced,but there was no difference between taurine treated and untreated diabetic animal.While the levels of serum Cr,BUN and urinary excretion of albumin were obviously decreased compared with untreated diabetic rats.Taurine treatment decreased the elevated glomerular volume/body weight in diabetic rats.Ultrastructural examination of the renal tissue in diabetic rats exhibited the segmental thickening of glomerular basement membrane,fusion of epithelial foot processes and widening of filtration slit .After administration of taurine to diabetic rats,these damages were alleviated.Conclusion:Taurine treatment attenuates the severity of renal functional and strutural lesions in diabetic rats.
