阜新地区出土了众多辽墓壁画,其中具代表性的有四家子辽墓壁画、平顶山辽墓壁画、平安地辽墓壁画、关山辽萧和墓壁画以及黄家沟辽墓壁画等。这些壁画的内容题材、图像样式和艺术特色突出展现了契丹的民族特色和风俗性,其绘画的风格技法、构图布局充分展现了辽代绘画成熟高超的艺术水平,形象生动地折射出独具特色与魅力的契丹历史文化内涵,涉及辽代的政治、经济、文化、艺术、宗教等诸多方面。

Among Liao tomb murals of Fuxin,typical ones are those unearthed in Sijiazi,Pingdingshan,Ping＇andi,Huangjiagou and Xiao He mural in Guanshan.The theme,picture and art of these murals give a salient display of national features and customs of Qidan.The painting style and skill together with the design and layout of these murals fully exhibit the mature and outstanding painting level in Liao dynasty,vividly reflects the unique and charming connotations of Qidan history and culture and involve politics,economy,culture,art,religion and so on in Liao dynasty.
