Information literacy is the prerequisite for people to effectively participate in society in the information era and engage in lifelong learning.Critical thinking is the key to the cultivation of information literacy.After a brief introduction to information literacy,critical thinking and the role of the latter in the former,a further discussion was made on the significance and ways of cultivating such abilities in college students,which is of referential significance in improving college students overall abilities.
