Design on ZigBee-based Positioning System for City Bus

摘要 利用无线传感器单片机CC2431和CC2430设计了一个基于ZigBee的公交车无线定位系统。传统的定位都是采用GPS或者GPRS的定位。GPS定位系统设计简单,可以使用免费的定位卫星资源,但是移动台到控制中心的数据传送需要借助其它网络资源;GPRS定位是基于移动蜂窝式通信的定位,使用现有的移动网络,但是带宽低,不利于突发事件的快速处理。本文设计的Zigbee的无线定位系统基于无线单片机CC2431[1],利用CC2431自带的RSSI定位引擎[2],再运用无线自组网[3]进行定位并向控制中心传送定位信息。该系统设计简单,定位精确度高,设备成本低廉,适合现代化城市的公交车系统智能管理。 With CC2431 and CC2430 single chip wireless sensors,a ZigBee-based wireless location system for city bus is designed.Traditional location is usually based on GPS or GPRS location.GPS positioning system,simple in design,could freely employ positioning satellite resources,however,the data transfer from the mobile station to the control center would be done with the aid of other network resources.GPRS positioning,based on the positioning of mobile cellular communications,employs the existing mobile networks,but the low bandwidth is not conducive to the rapid handling of unexpected events.The proposed wireless positioning system,based on Zigbee wireless single chip CC2431,with the RSSI positioning engine of CC2431 and MANETs,implements positioning and sends the positioning information to the control center.The system,simple in design,accurate in positioning and low in equipment cost,is suitable for intelligent management of modern urban bus systems.
