Russian - US deal on Alaska in mid - nineteenth century was a major Russian - British diplomatic incident involving the tripartite relationship. The reason to run, after the failure of the Crimean War, Russian state was weak. Under the threat of force by the British case, the inability to guard the territory across the sea, Russia sold Alaska to become the inevitable choice. The paper analyzes the sharp contradiction between the U.S. and British in the Americans, the U.S. hard -line "Monroe Doctrine" policy of exclusion of all others in North America as a range of national interests to intervene by trying to bribe Alaska expulsion of the British colonial forces in the North American continent.
