摘要
本文从词源学和历史文化角度对一些出自文学名著的英语单词追根溯源,探析了历史渊源久远、文化内涵丰富而寓意难以索解的一些常用词;开拓学生的语言视野,更好地领略英美文化。
Etymological analysis of some key words which are derived from English and American literature classics can help college students acquire the denotation and connotation of such words and also broaden students＇cultural horizon.
