This paper surmmarized the progression on diagonosis and treatment of manganism in recent ten years,including application of monitoring indices(neurob ehaviological,neurobiochemical,electro neurophysiological,immuological and endocrinological indices),medical imagetechniques used in diagnosis and differrential diagnosis of manganese poisoning as well as the new drugs and new method used in treatment.
