基于液晶的偏振转换器数值模拟研究

摘要 进行了液晶可变相位延迟器相位调制特性的数值计算。利用Jones矩阵法推导了三片式、方位角分别为0°,45°和0°的可变相位延迟器组成的偏振转换器Jones矩阵表示形式。利用该矩阵计算了电控液晶偏振转换器偏振调制,计箅结果用Poincare图示法表示、结果表明利用该三片式偏振转换器可以实现全范围偏振态调节,且可以实现任意输入偏振态到指定偏振态的变化,并给出了实现上述偏振态转换时偏振转换器各个可变相位延迟器相位延迟参数及电压参数。 Phase modulation properties based on liquid crystal variable retarder(LCVR)is theoretically calculated.By using Jones matrix method,the expression of polarization converter with 3-retarders oriented alternatively at 0°、45° and 0° is derived and calculated.Numerical results show that any expected polarization state can be produced by the polarization converter.Furthermore we give parameter settings of the polarization converter when it changes any given polarization state to the expected one.
