个人和社会的关系问题一直是社会哲学研究的核心问题,个体原子论、社会整体论、互构论,这三条研究进路构建了自古希腊哲学到当代社会哲学发展的基本框架,但它们并没有真正解决个体与社会二元对立的困境,也没有解决现代社会作为整体观念的消失,更没有解决被种种问题围困的现代社会困境,如何从个体主义视角出发构建现代公民社会是亟需解决的时代命题。

The relationship between individual and society has always been the core problem of the research on social philosophy. The three theories, such as the theory of individual as an atom, the theory of society as a whole, the social theory of mutual - construction ,construct the basic framework with development from ancient Achaean philosophy to social philosophy in the contemporary era. While, these theories haven＇t solved the problems effectively, such as the dilemma of the dualistic contra - diction between the individual and society, the disappearance of modem society as a whole idea, and the decline of modem community besieged by various problems. It has been a proposition to be solved urgently how to construct modem civil society from the angle of individualism.
