摘要
高速公路视频监控系统需要采集公路全线大量的监控视频,其所面临的最大挑战就是传输带宽和存储设备的容量限制问题,而由于H.264视频压缩标准比之前的视频压缩标准增加了帧内预测、整数变换、去块效应滤波等新技术,因而使得H.264标准拥有了优异的压缩性能和良好的网络亲和性,也因此在视频监控方面得到了广泛应用。文章针对高速公路视频监控的特点,给出了H.264视频压缩标准在高速公路监控中的应用方法。
The video monitoring system for expressway needs collecting the whole-line monitoring image, so the restriction in transmission bandwidth and storage capacity is the greatest technical challenge. H.264 video compression standard can solve this problem effectively. H.264 standard has many advantages over the previous standard of frame forecast, integer transformation and block effect filtering, which makes H.264 standard have excellent performance in compression and network affinity, therefore it is widely used in video monitoring system. In view of the characteristics of the video monitoring system for expressway, this paper proposes an application method for H.264 video compression standard in the system.
