通过菜单操作,统计Excel文中字数非常麻烦,而借助Excel VBA可方便快捷的统计单个Excel文件的字符个数、多个Excel文件的字符个数。将所有需统计的Excel文件放到一个文件夹下,使用文中提供的程序即可完成字数统计,并能将含有文件名及对应字符个数的统计结果存放到Excel文件中。

Through menu operation, counting text words in Excel is very difficult, and statistics the total number of characters by using Excel VBA can be convenient in a single Excel file and multiple Excel files. All the required operation is gathering Excel files into a folder, using the procedures provided in this article to complete counting number of all words, and then putting results of the number of characters into Excel file and storing the file in your file system. In the Excel file, you can find each file name in the directory which you count the number of words above and the total number of all words in each file.
