Synthesis and Evaluation of Honokiol Derivatives on Cytotoxicity and Apoptosis in a Human Hepatoma Cell Line (HepG2)

摘要 针对几个效果良好的和厚朴酚衍生物,在肝癌细胞(HepG2)上,应用MTT分析、细胞形态学分析、DNA碎片分析和细胞流式分析等方法,进行抗增殖和促凋亡活性评价研究。研究结果表明,化合物3a在HepG2细胞上展现了非常显著的抗增殖活性(半数抑制浓度为21.58微摩)和促进细胞凋亡作用。 In this current study,five representative honokiol derivatives(2a,2b,2c,3a and 3b) were further evaluated for their anti-proliferative and pro-apoptotic activity in HepG2 cells by MTT assay,cell morphology analysis,DNA fragmentation and flow cytometry analysis.Compound 3a exerted the most potent anti-proliferative effect with an IC50 value of 21.58 μM and pro-apoptotic activity in HepG2 cells.
