Building socialism with Chinese characteristics is a new endeavour which embodies Deng Xiaoping's creative spirit. During the reforming proces, Deng kiaoping innovated old concept, policies, theories, systems, which led China's reform and modernization construction to great succeis. This paper elaborated on Deng Xiaoping's creative spirit and its significance and seriously studied new problems and characteristics.
