Cataloguing and Its Extension——Image-based System of Collection Studies

利用高精度数字影像技术对藏品进行展示、编目和研究,是近年来数字故宫建设的重要研究方向。本文介绍了故宫基于影像的文物研究系统建设的过程及应用情况,并着重对系统建设中遇到的技术难点进行了探讨。

In recent years,the Digital Palace Museum project has been carried out with a special emphasis on presenting,cataloguing,and studying the museum＇s collection based on high-resolution digital imaging technologies.This article aims at introducing the process of establishing the Palace Museum＇s image-based system for collection studies and its ensuing application,highlighting technical difficulties encountered when building the system,and then suggesting some possible solutions.
