未来10年,是《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010—2020年)》实施的关键期,也是广西与全国同步实现全面建设小康社会的关键期,处于这一重要历史发展时期的广西高等教育需要承担起时代赋予的使命,发挥高等教育强省作用,增强区域综合实力;提升人力资本,满足社会人才需求;促进经济发展,引领社会变革;加强民族团结,促进各民族共同繁荣;加快高等教育国际化,推进国际交流与合作。完成这些使命对广西实现科学发展、加快发展和跨越发展具有重要的战略意义。

The next decade is an importance period of implementing the State Planning Outline for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development（2010-2020）,and also the period of Guangxi constructing the all-round well-off society at the same time,Guangxi higher education in this important historical development stage should undertake the missions entrusted by the times.The higher education function should be put into good account in rising the provincial competition,enhancing the provincial comprehensive strength;upgrading the human capital,meeting social talent demands;boosting the economic development,leading the society reform;strengthening ethnic solidarity,promoting the common prosperity;expediting the higher education international,promoting international exchanges and cooperation.Fulfilling these missions has important strategic significance for Guangxi realize scientific development,speed up development and leap development.
