法律文化在形成和发展过程中存在较大的中西差异,法律格言是研究中西法律文化差异的途径之一。该文试从古今中外法律格言的意义,分析这些格言背后所蕴含的法律文化,比较中西法律文化传统的差异,并探讨西方法律传统影响下的中国法律文化的生命力。

There is a big difference between east and west in the shaping and development process of law culture.Legal maxim is a way of studying law cultural differences.In this paper we try to analyze the traditional law culture of east and west,by the meaning of the legal maxims in ancient and modern,Chinese and foreign.Comparing the differences of Chinese and western,we can explore the life of Chinese traditional law culture under the western influence.
