摘要
设计了一套静磁场下磁流变液微结构演化观测装置,装置采用奥林巴斯三目体视显微镜进行观测,经由高分辨率光学成像装置记录了磁流变液的微结构演化过程,实验分别研究了不同颗粒体积分数和外加磁感应强度下的磁流变液微结构变化,得到了一些有意义的结果.根据Li等建立的模型,从颗粒的相互作用出发,分析颗粒所受的磁力、接触时所受的排斥力和运动时的粘性阻力,模拟了二维状态下磁性颗粒的成链演化过程,得到了与实验观测比较吻合的结果.
A device is designed for the observation of the evolution of microstructure in magnetorheological fluids (MRFs) under a static magnetic field. The evolution of microstucture in MRFs is recorded with a high resolution optical device of Olympus Zoom Stereomicroscope. Changes in the microstructure of MRFs under different volumetric fractions of particles and applied magnetic intensity are monitored and some sig- nificant results are obtained. Based on the model proposed by Li et al, a numerical simulation is per-formed, making use of particle dynamics and taking into account the effects of magnetic force, viscous force and repelling force, in which the formation of particle-chains in MRFs under an applied magnetic field is simulated and the main features of the microstructures can be satisfactorily replicated.
