摘要
郑氏文字学尊许,考字以《说文》为准。《说文逸字》志在恢复本书之旧;《说文新附考》判断徐氏新附字、《汉简笺正》考辨郭氏"古文",俱以《说文》为正。明正俗乃是郑氏字学的要旨,方言、异字、释佛书、辞章体物字率多著俗,固所不许;但以考辨正俗,推绎俗字孳乳,揭橥赋家用字之秘。而辨形则明字体演变,审音则使辨形精到,明义则资名实考证,都是郑氏字学的显著特点。
Zheng Zhen＇s works involve studies on Chinese characters in terms of dialects,deviations,Buddhist scriptures and verse essays.It is shown that his works are rich in content and profound in research as far as morphology,pronunciation and meanings are concerned.
