摘要
文言小说发展到近代,出现了一种全新的"新体文言小说"。这些作品虽然仍用文言,但从思想内容到艺术形式都面目一新。纵观"新体文言小说"的发展,林纾的翻译小说起了重要的推波助澜的作用。何诹的《碎琴楼》是今所见最早的此类作品。此后迅猛发展,苏曼殊的"哀情五记","鸳鸯蝴蝶派"的许多作品,尤其是徐枕亚的《玉梨魂》,堪称此类作品的代表。
As the fiction in classical Chinese developed into modern times, a brand-new "fiction in the new-type classical Chinese " came to the fore. Looking back on the development of this sort of fiction, the Chinese version of novels from the West rendered by Lin Shu has played an important role in it. The Hall of Broken Zither by He Zhou is the earliest novel of its kind ever read by the Chinese reader. Then this sort of novel developed in high-speed. For example, Five Notes with Sentimental Emotion by Su Manshu, and many other works written by the novelists of "Yuanyang Hudie Literary School", especially Soul of the Jade Pear by Xu Zhenya are all representative of the "fiction in the new-type classical Chinese".
