摘要
肇始于1936年10月的"反差不多"运动是中国现代文学史上一场自由主义文学和左翼文学间引人瞩目的文学论争,作为双方主将的茅盾和沈从文虽各执一词、互不相让,但今日看来,二者间却有许多共通之处。他们几乎不约而同地提出了"新八股"、"公式主义"与"差不多"的问题,发现了当时文坛存在的"差不多"的创作现状,并开出了差不多的"药方"。今天对茅盾和沈从文观点进行深入思考,不但有助于梳理和反思当年的那场论争,而且对当下文学的发展也有着积极的价值和意义。
The "Anti-Almost-the-Same" Movement starting from October, 1936, is an eye-catching dispute between the liberalistic and the Left-Wing literature in the history of modern Chinese literature. As the key persons of the two parties, Mao Dun and Shen Congwen each insisted on his own argument and would not reconcile to each other, yet, the two shared certain views applicable to both of them viewed from the present-day perspective. For example, they happened to coincide with each other in putting forward the issues of a "neo- eight-legged writing style", "formulism" and "almost-the-same", in finding out the "almost-the-same" status quo in the literary world, and in offering the "almost-the-same" prescription. To deeply consider the views of both Mao Dun' s and Shen Congwen' s at present is not only beneficial to tidy up and rethink the then dispute, but is of positive value and significance to the development of present-day literature.
